Siobhan is a power house in recruiting. I first met Siobhan right after I had joined AWS in 2017 as she and I were colleagues. Siobhan approached executive recruiting through a different and unique lens. Aside from being passionate around diversity recruiting, she focused on the candidates interview experience. She created a program called LEAP which not only prepared executive candidates appropriately for the interview but gave them the opportunity to learn about the AWS business and culture as a part of the interview process. Siobhan was instrumental in pulling together AWS VPs and Directors to help discuss their vision for their organization and internal culture. Candidates had the opportunity to learn about the bigger AWS picture vs just the role. LEAP delivered a substantial amount of diverse leadership hires and ultimately Siobhan was given the opportunity to scale the program more broadly across AWS. The program delivered a record number of diverse hires for all different roles and levels all while maintaining a wonderful candidate experience. Siobhan does a phenomenal job at building executive relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders. I’d work with Siobhan at any company.
